Beyond the CV

Photos, books, walks, and small experiments outside research.

A small space outside the academic CV — places I notice, books I return to, and a few things I am learning beyond research.

Recent Hobbies

Small routines and new skills outside work.

I try to pick up something new every few months. Recently, that has meant classical guitar lessons with Charles Ferguson at Stanford.

I have also been making time for small routines outside work: a beach stop about once a month, short scenic drives, and roughly fifteen hikes over the past six months. It’s nothing structured, just a way for me to get outside, slow down a bit, and notice things I’d usually miss during the week.
